We felt so welcomed even though we unfortunately don’t speak much French and they spoke only little english. On the first photo you see Ruth from @discovergraz.at herself trying urban sketching for the first time 😁 We had such a fun time and were glad everyone enjoyed the vibe. Holiday feeling with this customised mug design 🇬🇷 A commissioned painting transformed into a mug design. I wanted a long continuous design for the mug so decided to frame the painting in two parts. So happy how well both turned out! Looking back at 5 years of @main_design swimwear 🔥 They have just taken part in #fashionrevolutionweek so it’s a perfect moment to share where it all started and how they are making a difference in the fashion world. So here’s how I got an ambassador: 2017 in Bali I stumbled across their brand and bought that first olive green surf bikini in a small shop at Jalan Pantai Berawa. I was in love and still am 🙃 A little later on I met the amazing @yvi_meier who is the co-owner of MAIN through a mutual friend and we shared nice moments and waves together in Bali 🇮🇩 Some 2 years later when I lived New Zealand, I received a message asking if I wanted to become an ambassador. Well, I did! Since then I‘m super proud to be able to represent an eco-conscious brand who cares for their workers and uses recycled fabric from recovered fishing nets helping our oceans 🌊 Thanks to everyone at @main_design for your great work and the super positive vibes I always get from you 🧡 Here‘s 5 years of snaps - the last ones being taken recently in Morocco in some pieces from the newest collection. Our last surf trip brought some thoughts up 🌊 R Our last surf trip brought some thoughts up 🌊 Read below 👇🏼 To all fellow travelers and surfers out there: I think today’s #worldearthday is a good moment to share some thoughts and hear your opinions. I find myself very often in between two realities. ‘We surfers’ claim to be so big on sustainability and yes, we do admire nature and yes, we do our little bit in every day life (avoiding single-use plastic, buying secondhand, eating local food, beach cleanups etc) But in the end just one return flight to our next surf destination produces so much CO2 that we hardly count into the sustainable category anymore. I’ve realised that a long time ago but still haven’t found a solution. Here’s the situation and I’m sure everyone of you has a personal version of this. My home country doesn’t have an ocean and even river waves require a bit of traveling (that will hopefully change in near future (@wellefueralle 😉). To all fellow travelers and surfers out there: I t To all fellow travelers and surfers out there: I think today’s #worldearthday is a good moment to share some thoughts and hear your opinions. I find myself very often in between two realities. ‘We surfers’ claim to be so big on sustainability and yes, we do admire nature and yes, we do our little bit in every day life (avoiding single-use plastic, buying secondhand, eating local food, beach cleanups etc) But in the end just one return flight to our next surf destination produces so much CO2 that we hardly count into the sustainable category anymore. I’ve realised that a long time ago but still haven’t found a solution. Here’s the situation and I’m sure everyone of you has a personal version of this: My home country (🇦🇹)doesn’t have an ocean and even river waves require a bit of traveling (that will hopefully change in near future (@wellefueralle 😉).
